Dr. Emma Toillion, PT, DPT
Hi, I’m Dr. Emma Toillion, the founder of Haven Pelvic Health. As both a mom and a pelvic-floor certified physical therapist, I know firsthand the physical and emotional changes that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery can bring.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where I was a Division 1 rower, and then attended George Washington University for my doctorate degree. I have pursued extensive additional training in pelvic health, including visceral mobilization techniques and certification as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. These experiences allow me to combine advanced clinical knowledge with a whole-body approach to treatment, so I can meet each patient where they are in their journey.
At Haven Pelvic Health, I want every patient to feel heard, respected, and empowered with the tools they need to reclaim their health and return to the activities that bring them joy—whether that’s running, lifting their baby without worry, or simply living without pain. The name Haven holds a special meaning to me as it’s my daughter’s middle name and reflects my vision for this practice: to be a safe and welcoming space where women in all stages of life can find compassionate and evidence-based care.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy running, finding great coffee shops in St. Pete, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs. It is truly an honor to walk alongside women in their healing journey and to help them feel strong, confident, and at home in their bodies again.
